I was a teenager when I came accross that weird jazz piano cover of The Beatles’ Yesterday. And while at first I dismissed that blast of tones and chords as a useless mess of sounds, it somehow stuck into my head and wouldn’t go away. Listening to it again and again I was rediscovering the pure sound of the harmonies, the brilliance of the arpeggios and the abundance of rhythm and vibes that the piano was creating - I forgot about the song I was listening to. That old mp3 file is long gone, but I аm now bringing that inspiration to music of my own.
